14%–16% Seaweed Extract Flakes / Powder is manufactured by extracting and refining seaweed (primarily marine brown algae) as the main raw material. It contains a rich profile of 18 different proteins and amino acids that plants can absorb directly. In addition, it includes natural plant growth regulators such as auxins, cytokinins, and gibberellins, along with alginic acid, various vitamins, nucleotides, and natural compounds that help plants resist stress.
The extract also supplies essential macro- and micro-nutrients required for plant growth, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, manganese, copper, zinc, molybdenum, and boron.
All active substances are derived naturally from seaweed. The product has no strong chemical odor—only a mild seaweed scent—and leaves no harmful residues.
Available concentrations
Other variants of this seaweed extract fertilizer include 12%, 18%, and 20% (typically referring to alginic acid content or equivalent key bioactive components).

Main Functions of 14%–16% Seaweed Extract Fertilizer
This higher-concentration seaweed extract provides the following key benefits:
- It improves soil condition and increases the population of beneficial microorganisms in the soil.
- It enhances the utilization efficiency of applied fertilizers.
- It stimulates the development of new roots, promotes overall root system growth, and increases root mass and density.
- It shortens the slow seedling establishment phase and accelerates the emergence and growth of new leaves and buds.
- It promotes earlier crop maturity, increases total yield, and improves the quality of the harvested produce.
- It boosts cellular metabolism in plants, activates the plant’s natural defense mechanisms, and enhances resistance to environmental stresses such as high temperatures, low temperatures, drought, and other adverse conditions.
Recommended Usage
- Dilute the product with water at a ratio of 1:1500 to 1:2000 (1 part extract to 1500–2000 parts water) for applications via fertigation (drip or flushing irrigation) and foliar spraying.
- Mix with compound fertilizers at a ratio of 1:100 (1 part seaweed extract to 100 parts fertilizer).
- To enhance the effectiveness of pesticides or foliar fertilizers, add the seaweed extract to the spray solution at a ratio of 1:5000.

Advantages of 14%–16% Seaweed Extract Flakes / Powder Fertilizer
This higher-concentration seaweed extract offers the following key practical benefits:
- It increases the efficiency of fertilizers, especially NPK, by improving nutrient availability and helping plants absorb them more effectively.
- It enhances the soil’s ability to hold water, which helps maintain soil moisture for longer periods and supports crops during dry spells.
- The elevated alginic acid content (14%–16%) makes it particularly useful for soil improvement and remediation. It performs well on difficult soils, including those low in organic matter, compacted soils, salt-affected or saline soils, and sandy soils with poor structure.
- It activates and supports beneficial soil microorganisms, promoting healthier soil biology and better natural nutrient cycling.
