Potassium humate (GA-KHA) is the water-soluble potassium salt of leonardite humic acid: 50–60% min humic acid and 10% min K₂O on a dry basis, pH 9–10, for fertigation and NPK blends.
Product overview
Potassium humate is the potassium salt of leonardite humic acid. It is water-soluble, so humic carbon can be applied through drip and flood irrigation and blended into liquid and NPK fertilizers, while supplying some potassium.

What it does
- Soluble humic carbon for fertigation and liquid fertilizers
- Supports root growth and nutrient uptake from applied fertilizer
- Buffers soil pH and improves water holding
- Adds potassium alongside the humic carbon
How it is used
Dissolve for drip or flood irrigation, use as a seed-soak or root dip, or blend into NPK granules. Typical field programmes apply a few kilograms per hectare per application; adjust by crop and soil.
Application rates
| Use | Starting rate |
|---|---|
| Base fertilizer, mixed with N and P fertilizers | 5–10 kg/ha (about 5% of a urea blend) |
| Soil irrigation (drip or flood) | 5–8 kg/ha per application |
| Granule or prill forms with base fertilizer | 5–10 kg/ha; up to 25 kg/ha in high-salt soils |
Rates are starting points from the product TDS. Adjust by crop, soil and local advice, and run a small trial first.
Before you order: what to check
- Humic acid and K₂O (dry basis) for the grade
- Water solubility and sieve residue (0.5 mm) for drip systems
- Moisture ≤ 15%
- Crystal, flake, powder, granule or prill to suit your plant or irrigation system
Storage and shelf life
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area and reseal opened bags; avoid long exposure to moisture. Shelf life is 24 months from the production date in the original unopened packing.
Packing and documents
25 kg woven or kraft bags with an inner liner; jumbo bags and private-label packing on request. TDS and SDS for every grade, a representative COA before you order and a COA with every lot. Request documents or a sample.

FAQ
How much potassium humate per hectare?
As a base fertilizer 5–10 kg/ha mixed with N and P fertilizers; through irrigation 5–8 kg/ha per application. Granule or prill forms: 5–10 kg/ha with the base fertilizer, up to 25 kg/ha in high-salt soils.
Crystal or powder?
Crystal (flake) grades dissolve cleanly for irrigation; powder blends more easily into granules.
Can it be mixed with fertilizers?
Yes, with most N and K fertilizers. Avoid mixing concentrated solutions with calcium or strong acids, which can precipitate humic acid.
Is potassium humate fully soluble?
Crystal and powder grades are made for irrigation and dissolve readily; check the solubility and sieve residue on the COA before using drip lines.
